Chelsea Hoff

Chelsea Hoff serves as Associate Winemaker at Fantesca Estate & Winery. Her connection to the craft began in 2004, when her parents, Susan and Duane Hoff, founded Fantesca. Growing up immersed in the rhythms of the vineyard, Chelsea developed an early passion for winemaking and the pursuit of wines that capture life’s most meaningful moments.

Her formal training took her to UC Davis, where she studied enology and viticulture, followed by harvests in Italy, Bordeaux, and Australia. These experiences broadened her perspective and instilled a global approach to winemaking that she brings to her work at Fantesca today.

In 2016, Chelsea launched Fearless Wines, a label defined by authenticity and a bold spirit that quickly drew acclaim, selling out its inaugural release. She later expanded her vision with Lohas Wines in 2019, championing sustainability and highlighting lesser-known varietals from southeast Spain.

At Fantesca, Chelsea collaborates with Consulting Winemaker Tony Arcudi, lending her voice and expertise to every vintage. Her work bridges Fantesca’s deep roots as a family-owned estate with a forward-looking vision, blending experience, innovation, and a personal connection to the land.
